Private items are items that are published in your store but invisible to the general public. A customer can only access them if you provide them with the item’s URL.
To make an item private, you simply check the “Make this item private” box, when publishing content. After the item is published, you’ll see the icon of a lock next to the item; click this lock and it will provide you with the URL to copy and paste.
