Automated Messages
Automated Messages are messages that will be sent to a fan if the fan performs a specific action. We refer to these actions as triggers. For example, a trigger we have is “First Clip Purchase From a Fan”. If this trigger is activated, when a fan purchases a clip from the Artist for the first time, then the fan will receive an automated message.
Triggers can be turned on and off by clicking the toggle on the left of the trigger name. Next to each trigger is also a text field for you to create the message that will be sent when the trigger is activated.
Automated messages do not have to contain an attachment. However, if the Artist wants to charge a PTV amount for the message, then there must be an attachment with the message. Although Automated messages don’t require an attachment, it may be helpful in engaging Fans.
To add an attachment, click the plus sign + under the Attachment column. Your Media Library files will appear and you’ll be able to select 1 file to attach to the message.
Adding a PTV price to unlock the file attachment is also a great way to make some extra revenue from Automated Messages. The minimum PTV amount is $1.00 and the maximum amount is $10,000.00.
After making changes to this page, click the Save button in the top right. If you make changes but then click Cancel, all edits will be unsaved and you will return to the previous page you were on.
