North Carolina Compliance Forms
Important Information for North Carolina Artists
Effective December 1, 2025, a new North Carolina law requires all adult content creators in the state to provide specific written consents before their content can be distributed. These requirements are set by state legislation, not iWantClips. To remain compliant, all North Carolina Artists must complete two types of forms: a Consent for Sex Form and a Consent for Distribution Form.
This FAQ explains what these forms are, why they are required, and how they affect both your existing and future content.
1. Why am I being asked to complete these forms?
These forms are required under a new North Carolina law (effective December 1, 2025) regulating the distribution of adult content. The law requires us to have signed consent forms from North Carolina Artists for content to remain live on the site and for new content to be published.
2. What are the two forms I need to complete?
Consent for Sex Form – Confirms your consent to each specific sexual activity shown in the content. This form needs to be signed twice: Once to cover all existing content and once more to cover all new content that may be published to the site.
Consent for Distribution Form – Confirms your consent for iWantClips to distribute your content on the IWC platform and IWC social media accounts. This form needs to be signed twice: Once to cover all existing content and once more to cover all new content that may be published to the site.
You will need to complete these forms twice total: once to cover all of your Existing Content, and once more to cover all of your New Content.
3. What is the difference between the forms for “Existing Content” and “New Content”?
For simplicity, we’ve combined the Consent for Sex Form and Consent for Distribution Form into one set of documents. You will sign this set twice:
Existing Content Forms: Covers all content you’ve already uploaded. If not submitted by December 1, 2025, your existing content will be moved to “Pending” status until you complete the forms. We will not delete your content — it will be hidden until the forms are submitted.
New Content Forms: cover all content you publish moving forward. Starting December 1, 2025, no new content can go live without this completed form set. You only need to sign the New Content Forms once.
4. What happens if I don’t complete the forms by December 1, 2025?
If we don’t have your signed Existing Content Forms by December 1, 2025, your content will be hidden (set to “Pending”). Once you complete and submit the forms, your content will be republished.
5. Do I need to complete new forms every time I upload new content?
No. Starting December 1, 2025, the “New Content” forms only need to be signed once to cover all future uploads. You will not need to re-sign forms for every new piece of content.
6. How do I sign the forms?
You will receive RightSignature links from us. The process is fully digital. If you don’t receive our email with the forms, please reach out to us at Support@iWantClips.com.
7. Will this law affect Artists outside of North Carolina?
No. These requirements only apply to Artists who are residents of North Carolina.
8. Filling Out the “Existing Content” Consent for Sex Form
Q: What should I put for “Creator”?
A: Enter your exact iWantClips username. If you are a Studio account, list all of your Sub-Store names.
Q: What should I put in the “Store Link(s)” field?
A: Enter: “All content available on [your Store URL] or provided through IWC.” If you are a Studio account, include all your Sub-Stores’ URLs.
Q: What should I put in the Date field?
A: Enter today’s date.
Q: The form asks me to list the sexual activities I engaged in, but my store contains a wide variety of content. What should I put?
A: You may provide a general list of the sexual activities you usually or most commonly engage in across your content.
9. Filling Out the “New Content” Consent for Sex Form
Q: What should I put for “Creator”?
A: Enter your exact iWantClips username. If you are a Studio account, list all of your Sub-Store names.
Q: What should I put in the “Store Link(s)” field?
A: Enter your Store or Sub-Store URLs.
Q: What should I put in the Date field?
A: Enter the date you expect to publish your next new piece of content.
Q: The form asks me to list the sexual activities I engaged in, but I haven’t created any new content yet that I intend to publish. What should I put?
A: If you’ve recently created content that you intend to publish soon, list out the sexual activities that take place in that content. However, if you haven’t created any new content yet, provide a general list of sexual activities that you intend to include in your future content..
Q: What if I don’t engage in any explicitly sexual acts in my content?
A: You only need to list activities that apply. Below are examples of sexual activities that must be listed if they are part of your content:
Touching, spanking, rubbing, or sexual stimulation of any kind to oneself or another person (clothed or nude)
Displaying of one’s body parts to stimulate or tease another person
Sexual intercourse of any kind, including vaginal, oral, or anal sex
Physical restraint or bondage
If none of these acts occur in your content, you do not need to list them.
10. What about Featured Performers in my content?
Under the new North Carolina law, any Featured Performers (other individuals appearing in your content) must also provide written consent.
If your existing content includes Featured Performers, those performers must complete both the Consent for Sex Form and the Consent for Distribution Form for your content to remain live.
If their forms are not submitted by December 1, 2025, any content featuring them will be moved to “Pending” status until their forms are received.
Note: North Carolina Artists are prohibited from publishing new content with Featured Performers after December 1, 2025.
Existing content with Featured Performers may remain on the site only if the necessary forms from those performers are submitted.
11. How will Featured Performers complete their forms?
We will provide you with RightSignature links that can be shared with your Featured Performers. Each performer must sign their own set of forms. If you don’t receive our email with the forms, please reach out to us at Support@iWantClips.com.
12. Moving Forward with New Content Uploads
Q: I’ve already signed my “Existing Content” and “New Content” forms. Is there anything else I need to do when uploading content in the future?
A: Yes. Starting December 1, 2025, the upload process/workflow for North Carolina Artists will include an additional field for you to fill out directly in our content uploader.
In this new field, you must provide a complete list of all sexual activities shown in that piece of content.
This step must be completed for every new upload in order for your content to be published.
